Family First
While I wear many hats professionally, my favorite titles are partner, dad, brother, uncle, son, and Friend. My world revolves around my family: my partner, Katie (who many know as the legendary “Snacks Whisperer”), and our kids, Madison and Deegan, as well as our dog, Baloo. Whether I’m on the road or hanging out at home, the love and support I have at home is the real “why” behind everything I do.
My Roots & Service
Before I was a fixture in the rugby world, I spent 13 years serving in the United States Coast Guard. That experience shaped who I am today, instilling in me a sense of leadership and strategic focus that I carried with me when I transitioned from the service in 2011. I’m a storyteller at heart, and my military background is a huge part of the story I tell through my work.

Behind the Scenes
My professional focus is on the “how” of the sport. I’ve handled operations for some of the biggest organizations in the industry, including World Rugby Events, Premier Rugby Sevens, USA Rugby, and USA Volleyball
From the Front Row
I spent many years as a veteran front-row player, representing clubs globally from the San Diego Old Aztecs, Mid Northern RFC in New Zealand, Bahrain RFC in the Middle East, to the Southern California Griffins and the Coast Guard Select Side.
From the Sidelines
As a coach, I’ve loved the challenge of mentoring talent at the youth and university levels, including programs like the University of Minnesota, UC San Diego Women’s Rugby, and Silicon Valley Rugby.
